Strengthened Carbon Trust Needed to Reduce Emissions - Huhne12.00.00am GMT Thu 22nd Nov 2007 Commenting on today's National Audit Office report into the performance of the Carbon Trust Chris Huhne MP said: "While the Carbon Trust is doing some good work to reduce emissions, it would be much more effective if merged with the Energy Savings Trust. "Having one single organisation to promote greener energy and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels would help to reduce the level of dangerous greenhouse gases in the atmosphere."
